The academic year starts October 1st and ends June 30th. Also, during the Forum Altötting (end of July - beginning of August) you should be available.

Christmas holidays – immediately after Christmas for 10 days.
Easter holidays – one week.

For one month’s tuition at the IME we ask for a EUR 600 fee, this means EUR 5400 for nine months. This fee includes all expenses: the costs for the room, meals and other costs (e.g. transportation expenses to Rome).

Musicality is desirable for the IME. But maybe you have talent for acting, or you can paint well, or you are technically talented. Each talent is welcome for our mission or for living in the house.

You must have a good knowledge of German. We offer a German language course for non-native speakers in September.

The IME is an institution of the catholic Emmanuel Community in the diocese of Passau. The Emmanuel Community was founded in 1972 and acknowledged as a Congregation of Pontifical Right in 1998. It units families, singles, students, priests and sisters and brothers ordained in celibacy, which live a life amongst us and testify their faith in Jesus Christ.
